Which Internet Business to Choose?

With the rise of the Internet and the huge growth in online businesses, there is now a myriad of Business Opportunities available to people who would never have thought to start a business on the net.

There seem to be literally hundreds of new business opportunities coming onto the market every week – all of them promise to make the people who take them up vast sums of money with little or no work on the part of the buyer.

We all know that there is no guarantee of success when starting a new business, the statistics on traditional business starts shows that 9 out of every 10 new businesses fail within the first year. My guess is that new internet businesses have an even greater failure rate as the financial entry level is much lower and the take up rate is much higher.

There is no doubt that if you achieve success with an internet business then the level of that success can be dramatic and in some cases fantastic. It is this possible future success that encourages so many people to try their hand at new internet business opportunities.

So the question comes, which internet business should I choose and why? What criteria should we use to identify the best of the new internet business opportunities?

That’s a hard question to answer, but there are many pointers to consider when choosing which internet business to select. I will outline the main qualities that make up the most successful internet businesses and which ones that the novice should consider:

Are You Looking For Inexpensive Home Based Business Ideas?

Home business can be extremely expensive, but there are some great home based businesses that don’t cost much to start. Here are a few good ideas.

One inexpensive way to start a home based business is to set up a website. There are some really good places on the internet that will allow you to even set up a website completely free. Your site can be used to sell a product or to provide people with valuable information. With an informational based site, you can make money by joining various affiliate programs. Setting up a website can cost well under $100, and can even be completely free, but you will need to spend a lot of time marketing your site. If you know nothing about internet marketing, there are websites and books that can help you get started for little or no cost. After all, the entire internet is filled with valuable information on just about any topic. If you are on a tight budget, just do some research and you can find tons of information for free on any major search engine.

Another home business idea on a budget is selling various items of your choice at online auction sites. If you start out small, the cost in both time and dollars is very minimal. My suggestion is to start out with items you don’t want around your house anymore, or buy a few low cost items at garage sales. You could even sell a product that you can make if that appeals to you. Eventually you can connect with a wholesaler, possibly one who will drop ship the items you choose to sell. This takes away all the work out of packaging and shipping your products.

Internet Businesses can yield the Best Return

Yesterday I had lunch with a group leader from my church and we discussed about how the “financial crisis” had affected most businesses around the world. He worked in a leading Telecommunications company and told me there were a few people being made redundant and their overall company sales had dropped. I gave my point of view and partially disagreed as some businesses were not affected as such. Some businesses that I believe are not affected are general medical professions, such as doctors, dentists, optometrists, etc, supermarket chains, such as Woolworths, Coles and IGA. I believe these businesses were least affected because they sell and offer services that people all need to stay alive and keep well. And here’s the but, Internet businesses continue to thrive as well. I believe there are a few reasons why they continue to grow and buck the trend:

Low Overheads Keeps the Bottom Line Healthy

The beauty of running an Internet business is not having overhead costs which may include an office, staff, and other expenses when running a brick and mortar business. You can run your Internet business from almost anywhere in the world as long as you have a reliable Internet connection. For the last 3 years I’ve been running my Internet business from home and the costs I normal incur are mostly from my electricity and internet bills. I do hire contractors from time to time to help with administration tasks but they are done virtually and not at my home. When you compare the cost of having a lease for an office to working from a room in your own home, you can save yourself at least a couple of hundred dollars in rent per week. This can amount to $10,000 a year which could be ploughed back into building your Internet business or even paying for a business trip overseas. Bottom line is, an Internet businesses will keep you healthy and less stressed when you see more money coming in than going out.

Why An At Home Internet Business Is Not Hard To Do

When many people consider starting a home Internet business they wonder how difficult it will be. I think that is a good question, because most people starting out do not have a lot of background in either a home business or Internet marketing.

In this article let’s consider why and Internet home business is not hard to do regardless of your current experience level.

1. First of all the words Home Internet Business are kind of misleading. The reason I say that is you can actually operate an Internet Business anywhere in the world that you have connection to the Internet.

This means you do not have to do it out of your home all the time. If you are lucky enough to have a job where you got some free time, you can even work your home Internet business at work.

If you like to travel and want to spend a little bit of time checking on your home business all you have to do is log in and you are ready to go to work. Today that’s much easier to do with a wireless Internet card you can purchase, or even go into a coffee house at the Starbucks and sit down in access their Internet connection.

2. Another thing that is great about having the Internet business at home is you are always open for business. With a traditional brick-and-mortar business you will have employees and you’ll only be open when everyone shows up for work.

The Global Economic Crisis: The Impact On Bric Consumer Attitudes Towards Financial Services

Introduction

The global economic downturn has impacted BRIC consumers differently than elsewhere, and must be acknowledged to effectively meet consumers’ financial needs.

Scope

*Detailed analysis documenting BRIC consumers’ ‘recessionary mindset’ and how this influences perceptions about current and future prospects

*Insights highlight how the economic downturn has affected emotional wellbeing and financial security in the BRIC bloc compared to the global average

*Detailed discussion of what the downturn means for saving and investment products and what must be done to once again engage consumers

Highlights

Stress and happiness indictors are important to note, as they reveal the state of mind and likely future intentions of BRIC consumers. Faced with the uncertainty of the economic and financial landscape, there exists an opportunity for financial service providers to supply products that provide peace of mind.

BRIC consumers have learnt the lessons of the economic crisis and are looking to build a savings buffer to help mitigate further problems and reduce their stress levels. This buffer is the driver of short-term savings behavior, but there are also incentives for BRIC consumers to consider saving further into the future.

BRIC countries have not suffered the same levels of banking collapse as seen elsewhere and as such, there has been less extensive negative media coverage. In contrast, BRIC consumers are more likely to have had their trust damaged by a personal incident than global consumers.
